How mind-boggling will be this novel on which the great movie was based? Will I even understand it at all? These were some of the questions that came to me as I started this journey. And how wrong, lucky me, I was! Although a little different from the screenplay the book presents a story not only more graspable but yet more magnificent through the awesome descriptions of Arthur C. Clarke.

I read a lot of Asimov when I was younger but somehow skipped this great author pieces, maybe for his fame on ‘describing too much’, just as Tolkien did. Probably this is more about me than about Clarke’s but I think we can understand each other better now and I’ll be reading everything I can find from him. Very much recommended!
