An electric narrative of everyday facts interspersed with words from the very own Mussolini. The book presents the thinking of this discontented socialist who walks to the extreme opposite pole, looking for a revolution. Mussolini, a former journalist, professor, and soldier in WWI, shapes his discourse and stirs masses of a broken youth into the Far Right-wing ideology.

His movement becomes a political party. They praise Masculinity and Strength, consecrate the use of violence, and call for a revolution against ‘foreign’ concepts like Democracy. This book took me into an incredible journey that dominated and frightens me.

I am reading the two sequences (M: L’uomo della provvidenza and M: Gli ultimi giorni dell’Europa) of this trilogy and praise to write a special post after doing so.
